We are occasionally asked about the firm’s name, Capco, which strikes some people as somewhat generic. Capco was the family shorthand for Capitol Concrete, a business started long ago by our great-grandfather, and later run by our grandfather. We chose Capco in homage to those who went before us, and as a reminder of the values they lived by: honesty, hard work and searching questions.
